Some of the films I saw were truly spectacular. One called “Fiberglass and Megapixels” struck a nerve based on my early years of surfing. I started in 1937 on my first paddleboard, which I built in junior high school.

Sonny Miller, a legendary cinematographer, photographer, explorer, best friend to many and loved by all. We miss Sonny, his smile and positive attitude were contagious. Rest in Love Miller. 1960-2014
Brian has been taking photos and living on the North Shore of Oahu since the 1970’s. He is currently the Photo Editor of Free Surf Magazine and still doing what he loves.
Larry has been filming from the water since the 80’s. Living on the North Shore, Larry can be found out in the water surfing or with one of his cameras. At 60, he has the fountain of youth and positive stoke.

Daren is a master water cinematographer. His work is featured in many commercials and films. His stunning 16mm water footage and insightful words helped to shape the movie Fiberglass and Megapixels.
Ian Walsh grabbed life by the horns and chased his childhood dream to become one of the world’s best big wave riders. His positive and brave approach to surfing and life has opened up incredible opportunities for this Maui charger.
Mark Healey is one of the world’s premier big wave surfers and free divers. His unique skillset has catapulted him into an exciting career as a stuntman for movies and primetime TV shows.

Freddy P enjoyed over 10 years as a pro surfer on the World Championship Tour. Currently, he is enjoying life on the North Shore of Oahu with his wife, kids, family and friends.
Reef McIntosh has been a fixture on the North Shore for decades. The Kauai local is known for charging huge waves and having a great outlook on life. Reef is a member of the Quiksilver ohana and is a valuable mentor to the young guns on the team when they come to the North Shore.
Aamion is from Kauai and developed his professional career on Oahu's North Shore as a Pipeline specialist. As a pro “free surfer”, Aamion was paid to travel the world and surf many exotic locations.
Roy Powers from Kauai, a former World Championship Tour surfer who made his mark by winning the 2007 Reef Hawaiian Pro at Hale’iwa Ali’i Beach Park on the North Shore of Oahu in epic conditions.
Pierre Tostee from South Africa is a surfer, photographer and journalist who has the unique distinction of being the only competitor to get struck by lightning during a World Championship Tour event.
